A high-stakes PR campaign to manage and ensure the smooth, successful
completion of the environmental clearance public hearing for the Dhirauli
Coal Block in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
The public hearing was organized on 04 May 2022 for environmental clearance of the Dhirauli Coal Project in Sarai tehsil, village Berdaha. The objective was to secure crucial environmental clearance while spreading positive awareness among the villagers and managing potential negative activism.
Largest coal block in MP: 2672 Ha. area, 586 MT geological resource. Estimated revenue: ₹398.27 Cr per annum.
Approx. 2000 local villagers from all 8 affected villages were present and openly supported the project.
